"Evidence" is any type of proof that is presented to support a legal claim or argument. It is the information both sides use to build their cases.
Evidence comes in many forms, including:
- Testimony: Sworn statements from witnesses in a deposition or at trial.
- Documents: Emails, contracts, performance reviews, text messages, and other records.
- Physical Objects: Any tangible item relevant to the case.
